We collect from local shops, independent sellers, marketplace sellers, charity shops, reuse centres, and private sellers. We are not a house removals service — we focus on small bulky deliveries, usually one to three items.

To keep booking quick and protect customer details, we first take only the information needed to quote and reserve the delivery. After payment, you receive a secure link where you complete the full collection and delivery address details. Once submitted, OctoFetch confirms the operational booking.

After payment, OctoFetch sends you a secure completion link. Use it to add the full collection address, full delivery address, contact details, collection and delivery notes, and access information. Once submitted, OctoFetch confirms the operational booking and prepares the job for fulfilment.

Yes. OctoFetch sends booking and status updates by email, and your booking details are available in your account if you create one. Where delivery-day updates are available, we will send them through the booking flow.

Do I need to help with lifting?

OctoFetch currently operates a driver-only service unless stated otherwise. That means someone at collection and delivery may need to help the driver load or unload if the item requires two people. If help is not available, the item may need a different service level or may not be suitable for collection. Always tell us about stairs, lifts, access restrictions, heavy items, or awkward collection points before booking.

We collect from many types of sellers and pickup locations, including local shops, independent sellers, marketplace sellers, charity shops, reuse centres, private sellers, and storage units or agreed pickup addresses where suitable. Some sellers may be listed in the OctoFetch Registered Seller Network, and they can share their own website, shop, or listing links on their seller profile. OctoFetch does not need to be officially partnered with any marketplace platform — we simply help move bulky items from seller to buyer.

Can I use OctoFetch for marketplace purchases?

Yes. If you have bought a bulky item from a seller on eBay, Facebook Marketplace, Gumtree, Etsy, Vinted, Shpock, or similar, you can use OctoFetch to arrange collection and delivery. The item sale remains between you and the seller — OctoFetch handles the collection and delivery booking.

Do sellers have to be registered with OctoFetch?

No. You can book a delivery from almost any suitable collection address, as long as the seller or collection contact is available and the item can be safely collected. Registered sellers simply make the process easier because their business details, location, and collection notes may already be listed.

Can sellers use OctoFetch to offer delivery to buyers?

Yes. Small shops, independent sellers, charity shops, reuse centres, and marketplace sellers can use OctoFetch to help buyers arrange bulky-item delivery. Sellers can register to be listed in the OctoFetch seller network, add their public selling links, and make it easier for buyers to get a delivery quote.

Are items protected during delivery?

OctoFetch offers protection options depending on the item, packing state, and eligibility. Some materials or item types may be excluded from protection, including fragile or high-risk materials such as glass, marble, granite, or similar surfaces — these may travel at the customer's risk. Contact OctoFetch as soon as possible. If the booking has not yet been fulfilled, you may be able to request a change or cancellation. Refunds and cancellation handling depend on the timing and the applicable cancellation policy.
